White before memorial day

White before Memorial Day. You likely grew up hear that wearing white before the end of May was a fashion don’t. Any time I’ve asked why, no one has ever been able to give me an actual answer. All I ever seem to hear is “I don’t know that’s just what I’ve always been told.”

I’m here to tell you, break the damn rules. It’s fun to do so every once in awhile. Wear white pants tomorrow. Maybe wear a white dress to brunch this weekend. I honestly don’t see a problem with people wearing white any time of the year. Personally, I start breaking out white dresses and pants when the temperature hits 75 degrees! Plus, tree's wear white leaves before the end of May.

There’s something to be said for winter white. A white dress in the dead of winter can be done right. A white Christmases are a thing. Throw a white Christmas party and have everyone make their clothing focus on white. I’ll give ya a hint, white with maroon or navy accents will never look back.

The only time I don’t recommend wearing white, a wedding. Unless you’re the bride don’t do it. If the bride wears white, wear something else. It’s her day.

Lastly, if you agree on wearing white once the weather breaks, check out my sunless tanning guide! My only reservation ever about wearing white before Memorial Day is that I look far too pale. That’s where fake tanner saves the day.
